State Of Alert II

Another day, another major want crossed off my wants list. This time it's Dischord Records #2, the S.O.A. (State Of Alert) 'No Policy E.P.' on green vinyl. This is one that, about 7 years ago or so, I concluded that I would never own as the price was going off the charts. Well, time moves on and things change.

As well as picking one of these things up, which in itself is an achievement, what is even more satisfying is that this copy is in particularly good shape. I would say that this is as close to mint as it is possible to get for a record of this age.

Coincidentally, as I have just acquired this, Dischord have just pressed the S.O.A. demo onto red vinyl. So all of a sudden there's enough S.O.A. colour vinyl for everyone. Which reminds me, I need to order one of those...

Since I picked up a 2nd press, I feel the urge to pick up 1st press too. Seeing this makes me want it even more. Awesome score.

I have a copy of the 2nd press in great condition that I am looking to sell. What's the best way to let folks know?
