Sinker

Atthe end of last year I picked up three Ignition 12"s, and three months later I'm still playing them regularly. Last week I picked up an almost mint condition copy of their first 7" (and debut release), which I am particularly stoked about.

This copy is a second press, denoted by the red & black labels (the first press had white & black labels).

I don't think I had ever seen one of these in real life before, and I never appreciated that this is a glued pocket sleeve, rather than a folded paper sleeve. This is even more interesting given that it is made of quite thin paper, which no doubt makes it difficult to find copies in such good condition these days.

With this having been released in 1987, It's crazy to think that this record will be 40 years old next year. And also, kinda weird how cheap this can be bought compared to other records of similar age. Not that I'm complaining of course.
