End To End

The End To End 7" is probably most famous for being the OTHER record on Foundation Records. The one that isn't a Chain Of Strength record. I acquired a copy of this many moons ago, and never really thought it was anything special. It contains four songs, one of which is a live recording of an SSD cover which really should have been left off. One of the other three songs sounds like a Chain song, but the other two aren't so great in my opinion. Overall it partly suffers from the quality of the recording. Also, I never really understood the artwork on the front cover. What the hell is that all about?

This grey vinyl pressing was probably on my want list for about 15 years. No doubt some would find that hilarious.

What I find hilarious is that this record was on your want list for 15 years, and it sounds like you don't even enjoy it.

Well, y'know, its alright. But the fact that it doesn't excite me too much probably explains how it never became a priority and got stuck on the list forever. Although i did bid on a few on ebay over the years only to get outbid by loonies who wanted to pay like $40 or something.

Hey, thanks Lins87 for that diamond info. No doubt you've ordered yourself a Rule Of Nines 7" right?

Marcus I'm stuck in the 80's bro.....what is this record you speak of?

Lins87, you seemed like such an authority on Roa that I thought you would know about this one. RULE OF NINES was some band Roa fronted for a short space of time in the mid 90s. Check a video of one song and read about it on Double Cross. Some random label just put up their 7" for pre-order. First 25 with hand made cover, of which there still appear to be some left. Go HERE to get one.

I welcome all opinions on the music I make/made. I thank you for taking the time to listen.

The artwork is supposed to represent the posing of the scene at that time (mannequins) and how that these people act like puppets that are being controlled by someone other than themselves.

A lot of people back then made a ton of noise about their values and beliefs and it amounted to them ending up like the people they hated.

The Clash: I believe in this and it's been tested by research/that he who fucks nuns will later join the church

I don't know what you're talking about. End to End is, in my opinion, one of the best hardcore bands that ever existed. I liked it a lot more than the Chain of Strength 7" (which I love). Mainly because of how good Roa's voice is. Thanks for putting this one up. Although I disagree with you, it's still awesome to discuss it.
